LUISA

A traditionally trained painter from Spain named Luisa who has made New York City her home. With her daughter Julia off to college she converts their apartment into a studio and revives a sacrificed career. When Julia graduates and returns home they struggle to share the same space inspiring Luisa to nail a life-sized canvas to the wall and acknowledge the history of a shared space in the only way she knows how: by painting.

Luisa made it’s NYC debut at the NYC Short Doc Festival in November 2023 and received recognition from Berlin Arte Festival, NYC International Films Infest Festival and the Budapest Movie Awards Festival.
